Job Title: Franchise Sales Manager

Job Overview:

This role is responsible for expanding our company's reach by establishing new franchise relationships and identifying business partnership opportunities. The Franchise Sales Manager will work with the management and the recruiting team to design and execute strategies that will drive business expansion and fulfill Short Term Operator (STO) requirement nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all new franchise sales processes, initiatives, and programs with an aim to drive the acquisition of new franchisees vis-à-vis the business vertical.

Collaborate with the leadership team to strategize and develop franchisee attraction programs based on the associated business cases for priority market segment/ region.

Build a pool of potential franchisees, attract franchise talent, and develop a contingency plan when STOs are required as a matter of urgency.

Assist potential franchise partners to gain clarity of business ownership through the franchise model as well as the fees, process, requirements, and expectations from both parties.

Work closely with the marketing department to devise marketing communications and design collaterals to support the company’s franchise recruitment targets.

Conduct market intelligence and competition analyses to leverage the company’s franchising business strategies and opportunities.

Implement employer branding programs bearing in mind diversity of franchisees covering all demographics.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage the daily workflow of the franchise recruitment team to ensure that goals and objectives are met.

Train and mentor team members on sales best practices by setting and implementing industry standards.

Develop the team according to each one’s professional aspiration by assessing each team member’s performance, and provision of timely feedback and guidance.

Ensure that deadlines and targets are communicated to the team and provide the necessary tools to support the team to be successful.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven success in recruiting or business prospecting preferably within the food service/ retail or hospitality industries.

Effective in communication with the ability to convey policies and directives to the team and the franchisees.

Good decision-making ability and problem-solving skills

Personable with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or any other field.

Experience in franchise management is most desirable; alternatively, at least 5 years of sales or business development exposure at a managerial capacity is considerable.

Familiarity with franchise regulations and compliance requirements is an edge, but a comprehensive training will be provided to the incumbent.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to travel frequently to meet potential franchisees and attend industry events.

Work Environment:

Primarily office-based with frequent travel required.

Fast-paced and dynamic work environment focusing on growth and expansion.
