Job Description

Job Title: Project Structural Engineer

With a top MEP Engineering and Architecture Firm in the Detroit area

You Will:

· Lead project structural engineering team; provide mentorship and oversight of work given to junior staff

· Analysis and design of various building framing and foundation systems in structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry

· Development of construction documents, building information model, drawings, and specifications; meeting the scheduled project issue dates

· Collaborating and coordinating with other technical disciplines

· Construction administration, including shop drawing review and responding to Contractor questions

· Assist in developing proposals

You Have:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering

· 5+ years experience

· Professional Engineer Designation

· Revit experience preferred

· RISA-3D and RISAFloor experience preferred

· Project leadership skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with overtime as required
