Maintenance Technician Opportunity

Join a leading manufacturing company in a "hands-on" maintenance role where your expertise will be valued.

Responsibilities:

Utilize your skills in Electrical, Mechanical, Building, and Fleet Maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of all systems.

Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling systems, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.

Maintain accurate records to ensure regulatory compliance, keeping track of time, parts, and repairs.

Perform maintenance on 480V 3 phase electrical control circuits, motor control circuits, Device Control circuits, PC and PLC control systems, and HVAC systems.

Troubleshoot and repair facility systems such as energy management, fire control, alarm, 2-way radio, and dock door systems.

Handle maintenance and repairs on a fleet of lift trucks, including sit-down, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, and other vehicles.

Qualifications:

Bring 2-3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, demonstrating strong preventive maintenance skills.

Showcase excellent interpersonal skills, crucial for effective communication and issue resolution in a dynamic work environment.

Exhibit a proactive attitude with a sense of urgency to address maintenance needs promptly.

Ideally, possess a proven track record in skilled trade within a manufacturing environment, showing a commitment to equipment reliability and improvement through predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.

Education/Experience:

A one-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.

Alternatively, demonstrate 2-3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

Display proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.

Possess basic mathematical skills for tasks such as measurements and calculations.

Apply common sense reasoning and problem-solving abilities to effectively carry out instructions and address maintenance challenges.

Physical Demands:

Embrace moderate physical activity including standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds, and occasionally working at heights.

Utilize mechanical lifting equipment when necessary to assist in lifting or moving heavy workpieces.

Work Environment:

Adapt to a work environment with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Expect a moderate noise level within the workplace, typical of a manufacturing setting.
