Responsibilities:
Our CNAs are responsible for caring for our elderly residents and responding to resident calls in a timely manner - assisting them in all cares of daily living (ADLs), documenting and notifying RCC and nurse of any changes or concerns in our residents' condition, as well as all duties given them as assigned by the Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator.
Requirements:
Basic computer skills
Self-Starter and able to work independently
Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head
Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
Possess a love for the elderly
Have a positive and compassionate attitude
A background check is required for this position upon hire as well as food handlers permit, CNA certification, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test.
