JOB SUMMARY:

The Mid-Ohio Food Collective is looking for a Strategy and Insights Manager to help develop and implement strategies to address the needs of our customers. This role combines strategic thinking, data analysis, and a deep understanding of social issues related to hunger and food insecurity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and launch future programs that leverage technology in a way that is progressive, cost effective, and minimizes disruption for our customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Collaborate with teams across MOFC and partners to research and leverage the customer voice and promote innovate concepts.

Manage customer-facing projects including research and analysis to enable development and launch of future-ready programs.

Serve as the liaison between stakeholders and the community voices.

Act as a customer-facing advocate for the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.

Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to address the unique challenges faced by food-insecure customers.

Collaborate with leadership to align the organization's mission and values with initiatives focused on alleviating hunger and improving food security.

Conduct thorough market research to understand the dynamics of food insecurity, including its causes and regional variations.

Utilize insights to inform decision-making processes and identify opportunities for intervention and support.

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to food insecurity trends, customer behaviors, and program outcomes.

Use data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and measure the impact of initiatives over time.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and community outreach, to align efforts and maximize impact.

Work closely with external partners, nonprofits, and government agencies to leverage collective resources and expertise.

Design and implement programs aimed at addressing the root causes of food insecurity.

Develop metrics and key performance indicators to assess the success of programs and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

Advocate for policies and initiatives that address systemic issues contributing to food insecurity.

Establish and maintain partnerships with organizations, businesses, and government agencies to amplify the impact of anti-hunger efforts.

Prepare and present reports to communicate the impact of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (business, social sciences, public policy, etc.).

Experience: Minimum of three to five years' experience working in a social service or non-profit setting with a working knowledge of government programs and communities MOFC serves. Supervisory experience preferred.

Skills/Competencies: Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to apply logic to solve problems and help identify innovative solutions. Strong understanding of social issues related to food insecurity and a passion for creating positive change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment. Experience in marketing, innovation, research management, strategic planning, data analysis, and/or project management is a plus.
