About this Job

Eridan is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer who is enthusiastic about hardware integration and lab work. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role supporting hardware development and test processes, closely collaborating with our HW team.

A successful Embedded SWE will leverage their experience in measurement and bringup, excelling in lower-level embedded software tasks. Your responsibilities will include creating data sheets for components, ensuring seamless integration between software and hardware systems. As our Embedded SWE, you will:

Engage in the development of ORAN compatible 5G RU application software.

Develop user space and Linux kernel drivers.

Contribute to the design of test environment and participate in test development for hardware and software verification.

Closely collaborate with hardware design in board bring-up processes.

Work in the lab with wireless communication measurement equipment.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

Bachelor and or above degree in Computer Science, Software and Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in Linux based embedded platform software development.

Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.

Experience working with measurement equipment like spectrum analyzer.

Familiar with Agile Software development processes, such as Scrum.

Good understanding of wireless communication and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Qualities/Nice to Have:

1+ years of experience in software development for wireless or telecom equipment.

Familiar with ORAN architecture specification.

Salary Range

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $115,000 and $125,000 plus stock options and benefits.
