Hiring for Prep Cook / Delivery Driver! Hiring for full time schedule, working Tuesday- Saturday from 8am-4pm

Join us in moving the Bamboo Sushi mission forward and bring to the table:

Work with the prep cook team, conducting food prep for the next delivery

Basic prep, cleaning, and dishwashing

Working as a team to ensure consistent and timely picking and packing of all commissary food orders with 100% accuracy

Packing the food into the company vehicle (box truck) and delivering to restaurant locations across Portland Metro

Driving the company vehicle by following an established route

Stocking product and conducting inventory at each drop-off location, ensuring proper and accurate labeling

Following company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards

Maintaining clean and organized workstations by always practicing safe and sanitary food handling

Previous experience in food prep, inventory, delivery, or stocking preferred

Knowledgeable in proper food handling & storage

Attention to detail

Calm and respectable demeanor

Solution-oriented perspective

Valid Oregon Driver's license with at least 5 years of licensed driving experience

Environment

Work is performed primarily in a fast-paced full service restaurant with frequent distractions and loud noises.

Physical

The person in this position needs to occasionally or frequently:

Maneuver about inside the restaurant/office to access food/beverage items, machinery, and other restaurant equipment

Operate basic office equipment

Operate basic restaurant equipment

Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs to service the machinery, lights, ceiling fans, etc.

Be able to exchange accurate information while communication with customers

Be able to distinguish different tastes, i.e., sweet and bitter flavors.

Work in a noisy/distracting environment
