We are looking for a responsible for timely and accurate issuance, processing, and management of part orders as well as all other assigned warehouse duties. These duties will include inventory, receiving, locating, picking, packaging, and shipping of the items as well as the processing of all transactions into several internal and external business systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct Root Cause Analyses with cross functional groups when process failures become apparent.

Managing the on-site, multi-shift warehouse operation including the receiving, shipping, inventory.

Manage inventory control such that inventory accuracy is 98% or higher.

Manage the removal of waste, excess, expired components or finished goods by utilizing the local Food Bank or other charities when appropriate while maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity.

Run and Review reports out of the company ERP system to monitor aging products and manage the systemic hold and release of certain non-quality related status changes.

Work with Scheduling and Purchasing departments to reduce component and finished goods inventory as close to ‘just-in-time’ as possible.

Utilize in-depth investigation ability in an ERP, MRP, or WMS environment.

Review and monitor SO/PO to ensure being closed properly and timely. Investigate any exceptions to report to management

Oversee off-site warehouses and ensure that inventory is reconciled on a regular basis.

Review daily appointments in dock scheduling software and coordinate accurate and timely completion of workload.

Participate in plant leadership, daily and weekly, meetings providing performance results and action items.

Work with Scheduling and Production to eliminate order shortages.

Conduct and document formal training sessions with associates to ensure inventory policy and procedures are implemented and followed.

Provide input to sales on products soon to expire to reduce and/or eliminate expired product occurrences.

Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.

Corporate trainer-train the trainer for crown equipment

Ensure that all appropriate safety regulations are being followed both with regards to personal safety and the safe operation of all PIT equipment.

Maintain a Safe Working environment for all Associates.

Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:

Four-year College degree or equivalent; or 3+ years of related experience and/or training in a food or food related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

APICS certification is a plus.

Required skills in communication, problem solving, decision-making, prioritizing work, and organization.

Ability to motivate and lead a team.

Good spoken and written communication ability.

Working experience with Microsoft Office applications. BENEFITS:
