About the Program and Hours

8 Bed Emergency Department

7,500 Annual Visit ED

15% admission rate from the ED

Both EM and HM physicians respond to in-house codes

ED sometimes asked to perform procedures

12- or 24-hour shifts

Qualifications

Active Alaska in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license

Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM

Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
