Job Description
Position Title: Welding Engineer QA
LLH Recruitment Solutions is a partner with a values-driven and diversified industrial business. This role is critical in ensuring that production adheres to the correct welding procedures to support commercial, government, and facility contracts. The successful candidate will be instrumental in analyzing needs, supporting documentation, and facilitating critical compliance training within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain welding procedures and documentation to meet code requirements and other relevant standards.
Conduct training sessions and lead 248 training for compliance with standards.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure welding practices meet commercial and government contract specifications.
Travel to various sites to oversee and support welding operations.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a welding engineering role.
Proficiency with AWS, ASME, ABS rules, and NAVSEA code requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Comfortable conducting training in a classroom setting.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract obligations.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 annually + Bonus structure

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
