Position Title: Human Resources Generalist

Reports To: HR Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to be partnering with a company in Portland, OR for an HR Generalist role. You will play a key role in the daily operations of the HR department, contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Administer compensation and benefit plans.

Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training & development.

Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.

Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.

Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.

Undertake tasks around performance management.

Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.

Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.

Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.

Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.

Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems

Excellent communication and people skills.

Aptitude in problem-solving.

Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.Additional HR Training will be considered an advantage.
