About the position:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Univar Solutions, you will be responsible for managing accounts assigned within a geographic sales territory. In the role you will close new business opportunities at both existing and prospective accounts while increasing your territory profitably and market share using a consultative selling process.

What you’ll do:

Identify, generate, and develop sales leads to close.

Manage and grow the opportunity funnel for new and existing customers.

Drive > 30 sales calls per week with quick customer follow up, quotes, and service.

Collect competitive intelligence and provide feedback to product owners and sales leaders.

Update and maintain customer information in SalesForce.com (SFDC).

Sell new products and drive focused sales campaigns.

Periodically travel to key customers for in person meetings and personal sales development

What we would like from you:

University degree or diploma and two (2) years’ specialized training in related field (i.e. chemistry, sales).

Minimum 1-year previous sales experience preferred.

Ability to relate to and communicate with individuals at all levels.

Results driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

SalesForce.com experience an asset.
