Job Description

Customer Service interviewers will engage directly with bus and rail riders across various routes in North Los Angeles, gathering vital data to help us evaluate and enhance our transportation services using tablets.

Shifts: Workdays: Primarily Monday – Thursday

AM Shift: Begins between 4:00 am - 2:00 PM and PM Shift: Begins Between 1:00 PM – 10:00PM

Responsibilities:

1. Report 15 minutes before the assigned bus departure time.

2. Check-in (clock in) with the survey supervisor.

3. Receive a tablet for conducting surveys.

4. Receive an assignment sheet and any special instructions.

5. Check-in with garage dispatch to get assigned bus driver and bus.

6. Board the assigned bus or rail vehicle.

7. Approach passengers to participate in a 5-6-minute survey.

8. Ask and input survey questions into the tablet program.

9. Ensure a minimum of 4 completed and accurate surveys per hour.

10. Return to the bus garage at the end of the shift, return equipment, receive feedback, and get details for the next day.

Interviewers Questions Include:

Passenger's home address (mapped on the tablet using Google API).

Origin and destination of the passenger's journey (mapped on the tablet).

Boarding and alighting points on the bus route (mapped on the tablet).

Details of any other buses used on the trip and their boarding and alighting points (mapped on the tablet).

Demographic questions (income, ethnicity, employment, etc.).

Qualifications :

Be available for TRAINING starting Nov 7, @ 8:00 in downtown Burbank, CA

Bi-Lingual: English/Spanish required.

Must feel comfortable riding on a bus for the whole shift

Outgoing Personality

Strong Communication Skills

Highly Dependable and Reliable

Must be able to get to various locations around Los Angeles County

Able to be on Your Feet for 6-8 hours Riding Busses and Trains

Location: Customer Service Interviewers will report to their assigned bus garages/depots in various locations in North LA Los Angeles

First: Division 15- 11900 BRANFORD ST. Sun Valley CA

Second: Division 8 - 9201 CANOGA AVE. Chatsworth CA
