Contract Criminal Defense Paralegal

Job Description

LOD is urgently seeking a contract Litigation Paralegal to support a criminal defense law firm in the Fairfax, VA area.

This role will be on-site five days per week and is anticipated to last about 4 months. This is an urgent hiring need and candidates should be available to start ASAP following interview and selection by the firm.

This role will pay $30-35/hour based on experience.

Skills required:

2+ years of hands-on litigation support (i.e.: trial prep, filings, research)

Tech savvy

Drafting demand letters

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptionally detail oriented and organized

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and self-manage time

LOD offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.Company Description
