Executive - Artist & Label

Gist of the role: The role would be that of an Artist & Label Executive. This role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations for a series of artists, working with them on creative strategy and handling Misfits Inc.'s independent label & publishing setup.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily administrative tasks to support artists, including scheduling, communications, and logistics.

Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring music releases across various platforms to maximize visibility and revenue.

Planning & executing tours and shows with the artists

Liaising the artists for their commitments - meetings, shoots, promotional activities, etc.

Manage publishing administration to ensure music is registered correctly and all copyright requirements are met.

Liaise with the rights management team to ensure all songs are correctly published.

Lead label releases for strategy, marketing and PR.

Coordinate synch opportunities once deals are closed

Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to develop promotional strategies that align with artist goals and release schedules.

Maintain updated records of contracts, releases, and promotional materials

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on artist progress and project statuses.

Liaise with artists to understand their vision and needs, ensuring they are fully supported throughout the creative process.

Be available on weekends, in case of commitments / shows

Available for in person work meetings with the team and co-working.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of music publishing, copyright laws, and distribution channels.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Passionate about music and up-to-date with current music trends and industry developments.
