Digital Identificaiton & Traceability (DI&T) is one of the key Digital Capabilities we are building. The Assistant Manager, DI&T will have global ownership of critical regulatory, customer compliance, and other digital products within the DI&T space. This individual will have global responsibility for the deployment of assigned DI&T products (e.g., Serialization, Uinque Device Identification, Global Data Synchronization). He/she will work with peers, Managers, and Director-level leaders to deploy these
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead the ongoing end-to-end efforts to understand compliance regulations and customer requirements globally, and provide data to customers in a timely, cost effective, and efficient manner
Lead cross-functional coordination of all relevant scoping activities (e.g., business requirements, cost estimation, capital appropriation request development etc.)
Engage appropriate stakeholders (e.g, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Operating Companies) to interpret components of the requirements and develop processes to develop future state processes that drive compliance to regulations / customer requirements
Partner with regional teams to prioritize regional portfolio for implementations and drive regional/local engagement
Identify technologies to improve operational processes, data quality and customer compliance
Ensure Work Instructions are aligned for operational excellence according to GxP standards
Augment and maintain comprehensive metrics and track issues, problem solving resolutions, contingency plans, and timelines to communicate to stakeholders
Serve as SME for key stakeholder partners including IT, Commercial, Customer Service, Distribution, Customers, Master Data, Internal and External Manufacturers, Trade, etc.
Support global leadership team in activities related to global strategy, tactical actions, and financial management
Represent the DI&T programs within the local business, IT, and supply chain organizations
Develop, align with business, and execute opportunities to leverage these capabilities to deliver value, to and its partners, beyond customer compliance
Keep abreast of new/existing regulations and pending regulations for other countries
Keep abreast of new/existing customer requirements
Lead Kenvue efforts regionally and globally with industry (e.g., GS1 etc.) to influence industry and regulatory authorities and shape regulations
Work with Organizational Change Management and Communications team members to develop appropriate documents for internal and external stakeholders
Identify opportunities for value creation for the business and customers/partners; execute them as prioritized
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum of 7 years of business experience with at least 5 years of Supply Chain, SAP - ATTP, or other relevant functional experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with at least 3 years experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, SQL, Project Management
Outstanding stakeholder management experience, superior influencing, and collaboration skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding and working experience utilizing design-thinking best practices – empathy, requirements definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing to deliver digital products and experiences
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical team members
Experience with Agile product development methodology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions and process information quickly
High digital acumen and thought leadership with an agile mindset and experience shaping innovative digital solutions
Ability to understand the cultural and change management requirements and impact inherent in a large, complex organizational change initiative
Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree or specialization in supply chain, data engineering, data science, or other relevant field is strongly preferred
Expertise in Serialization, Unique Device Identification (UDI), and/or 2D Barcodes is strongly preferred
Experience with industry standards such as GS1 (Global Standards organization) is strongly preferred
Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain interactions, interdependencies, and end-to-end business/IT architecture is preferred
Digital product management experience is preferred
Scrum Master, PMP, or other similar certification is preferred
Experience working with Jira boards is preferred
Experience working in consumer packaged goods industry is preferred
Experience with supply chain processes in a regulated environment is preferred
Experience working in or with a complex global organization spanning across functions is preferred
Strong management skills to lead and develop team members and influence others in a complex matric organization
