Job Opening for Operations Superintendent - Bulkers

Education: Master Mariner

Relevant Experience : At least 18 months command experience on board Dry bulk vessels (preferable foreign going) and 2-4 years of Shore based experience.

Job Description

1. Liaise with brokers / charterers, chartering team and Master for the voyage planning and execution

2. Pre-loading

Send the Stowage plan to charterers and seek approval

Monitor appointment of agent and payment of PDA

Plan and monitor cargo operations and documentation

3. Loading (Voyage Charter)

Monitor loading operation in line with voyage orders

Monitor and follow up vessel’s commercial documentation

4. Voyage (Voyage Charter)

Monitor speed and fuel consumption of voyage charter and time chartered vessels

Monitor carriage of cargo as per C/P requirements and ensure Safe Navigation of the ships

5. Cargo Discharging (Voyage Charter)

Liaise with brokers / charterers for the safe discharge orders

Monitor appointment of agent and payment of PDA and requisite documentation

6. Bunkering

Plan and monitor bunker requirement for the voyage and give input to chartering department and bunker cell.
