Global Digital Product Development Lead in a leading AgriTech organization (Client of WrightREE Talent Partners)

Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Reporting to: Global CTO

Experience: Minimum 15 years

GROSS CTC: 70-85 LPA

This role will report to Global CTO and will work closely with business development along with Business units and functional heads. We are looking for a person functionally strong with experience in strategic areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Conduct market research to understand farmers' needs and pain points and translate that research to product features & solutions.

Ability to translate business offering to product design and roadmap.

Ability to understand the local (Americas / APAC) agriculture ecosystem to build the right product market fit for the local market, but build the solution with a global mindset.

Engage with farmers and agronomists throughout the journey of the digital product design, build, and deployment with continuous feedback that increases engagement & adoption.

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital product roadmap aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

Create and build strategic partnerships with digital vendor to deliver on digital product needs.

Lead a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to conceptualize, prioritize, and deliver digital products.

Drive product innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless product integration and adoption.

Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of digital products.

Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Cultivate a continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning culture within the digital product team.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Act as a liaison between the digital product team and executive leadership, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Proven track record of at least 10-15 years of experience in digital product management or related roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

Understanding of digital product development methodologies, including agile, scrum, and lean principles.

Strong business acumen to translate market insights and customer needs into innovative product solutions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality digital products.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance metrics analysis.

Passion for technology, user experience design, and digital innovation.

Leadership qualities include integrity, adaptability, resilience, and emotional intelligence.

Strong experience in user-centric design and building digital products that keep empathy toward the customer in mind.

Experience in the agriculture industry building digital experiences and solution that are for farmers, sales team and other players in the ag ecosystem

Working in a global setting and managing stakeholders / team across the globe

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
