Design Enablement is a central technology development organization within NXP which defines and supports NXP hardware design methodologies and EDA tools enabling differentiation for NXP IP/SOC development.
The NXP Toulouse center is looking for an experienced CAD / IT Design Support Engineer.
Be part of NXP Design Enablement (DE) global team as CAD / IT Application Engineer, will provide to the candidate the opportunities:
· Develop an efficient and secure design environment for all NXP IP/SOC design centers.
· Support deployment of secure design environment across all regions
· Develop new solutions to automate design environment enabling NXP IP/SOC teams
efficiency with R&D IT or EDA vendors partnership.
· Work within a multi-cultural worldwide environment with all NXP design organizations
· Part of a global worldwide team with experts recognized as technical leaders in this unique
and competitive domain
Your responsibilities:
Support design infrastructures within Linux and Windows and develop environment playbooks for multiple regional design teams
Support migration to the Cloud platform
Implement automation for EDA or NXP tools with standard configuration and setup.
Be primary contact for EDA tools support
Partners with R&D IT developing new methodology and setup to improve IP/SOC access control through Unix Group, Unix Access or DesignSync Access Control File
Coordinate with EDA vendors and internal tool teams with training, tracking and resolution of issues.
Create technical documentation for procedures and flows, Work within a global CAD organization and Work with multidisciplinary teams
Your profile:-
Master level, with minimum 5 years’ experience as EDA CAD support or IT data center Linux storage / farm administrator for IP/SOC circuit development or IT Data Management engineer (Design Sync).
Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software: Linux (RedHat), Windows OS and Load Sharing Facility (LSF)
Working knowledge of data management tools: DesignSync, Enovia dPDM
