Position: Professor/Associate Professor - English
Location: Kolkata, India
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in English from a reputed university
NET/SET (Preferable)
Minimum 55% marks in Masters and brilliant overall academic record
Minimum 10 years of experience for the post of Professor, 8 years of experience for the position of Associate Professor
For Professor, at least 10 peer reviewed journals and 1 PhD awardee are mandatory
For Associate Professor, at least 8 peer reviewed journals is mandatory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and inspire students in a dynamic learning environment
Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality lectures and practical sessions in English
Mentoring and guiding students in academic and career development
Conducting research and contributing to the academic community
Collaborating with industry professionals to enhance the curriculum's practical relevance
Participating in departmental and university-wide initiatives
