Data Engineer

Strong Platform engineer (Admin) experience with Data Mesh/Virtualization such as Dremio and Starburst and a deep understanding of database technologies of various distributed file and table formats such as Iceberg, Delta, Apache and standard methods in data transformation using Spark, Object Storage (Dell ECS preferred), and Metadata.

Using DevOps-related tools like GIT, Gitlab, Splunk, and Ansible.

To detect all service-impacting issues, accurately triage, communicate with partners, impacts, restore services, and follow up after incidents of scripting, such as Shell and Python, etc.

In automated testing, including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JUnit,

Selenium.

Experience with multiple front-end and backend frameworks, such as Angular, etc. an opinion of their qualities with Agile software development and test-driven development.
