We are currently looking to fill the role of a Technical Account Manager (TAM). Working with Densify Account Managers and directly with our strategic customers, the TAM will be responsible for building and maintaining post-sales relationships and providing technical advocacy throughout the customer contract.

The position requires a strong technical foundation combined with excellent presentation skills. The successful candidate will possess conceptual and analytical skills, planning abilities, sound judgment, innovation, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

This position will be based in Canada (100% remote work) and report to the Senior Director, Technical Account Management. It is expected that the position would require occasional North American travel (approximately 15-20%).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide advice and guidance as subject matter expert to ensure successful ongoing usage and adoption of capabilities

Design and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements

Working with the Account Managers, undertake discovery and education activities to identify opportunities for usage across organizational functions and processes

Advisor to clients to integrate software with key 3rd party tools and client processes

Engaging with customer support as a customer advocate to ensure speedy resolution of customer issues

Engaging with product management as the customer advocate on product roadmap discussions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years experience in an enterprise software company and hands-on experience with large scale enterprise cloud-based software sales and/or deployments

Successfully managed customer engagements to completion and customer satisfaction

Excellent analytical skills & problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems

Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast paced environment

Willingness to travel periodically based on customer and business need

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills are critical

Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects

B.S. degree in an engineering and/or technical discipline from an accredited college or university

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Hands-on experience with cloud, container and virtualization technologies; in particular: Kubernetes, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and VMware

Understanding of DevOps principles and tools for orchestration / automation including Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible and CloudFormation
