In this pivotal hands-on role as a Security Engineer Lead, you'll spearhead the continuous improvement and implementation of cutting-edge security measures, leveraging your expertise in managing security to fortify the company's infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

improvement, implementation, management, and enhancement of managed security platform tools (in-house and managed security services).

security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.

in assimilating recommendations from threat intelligence providers to Document security threats and assess the damage they cause.

email security SaaS platform data, review cloud-based email system/data, review cloud data, and review endpoint protection platform on daily basis for potential security incidents.

resolve, and mitigate known and reported vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.

maintain, and monitor controls based on common security frameworks.

with external parties to routinely test for internal and external vulnerabilities.

IT staff on best practices and implementation requirements for a secure infrastructure and DevOps.

security workflows for secure code deployment and validation of existing code.

security enhancements and make recommendations to leadership.

a culture built around awareness and risk avoidance.

patch management of servers, PCs, etc. and report for compliance reasons on routine basis.

in the development of a safe and healthy workplace. Comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others, in adhering to safe work procedures. Cooperate with management in its fulfilment of its legislative obligations.

and implement best practices for IT security and risk mitigation and develop global security awareness and training programs.

What You Will Bring

GIAC Certifications are strongly desired.

degree in computer science or related field.

years’ experience in information security or equivalent experience managing various aspects of security IAM, firewalls, security awareness SaaS platforms, and working with MSPs providing SIEM/firewall support.

experience with the following is highly desired: Knowbe4, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Mimecast, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewalls.

translating penetration test results and security assessment recommendations into actionable plans and implementing.

of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, Cloud, and IDPS concepts.

to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.

of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.

Nice to Have:

Cloud Security certifications, MDR Certifications with vendors, any GIAC Certification.

in deploying and/or supporting zero-trust network access products.
