Associate Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team that focuses on civil litigation. You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on settlement.

Responsibilities:

Completing initial discovery including interrogatories and responses to requests for production.

Completing written expert discovery.

Preparing for and conducting depositions of Plaintiffs and witnesses.

Negotiate settlements for legal disputes

Preparing clients for and participating with them in depositions.

Attending hearings and case management conferences.

Attending and participating in mediation.

Conducting expert and doctor depositions.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in civil litigation.

Familiarity with various legal documents

Ability to build rapport with clients

We are a firm that focuses on insurance defense, primarily in the area of auto. The firm is an extremely heavy litigation practice. We have been in existence for over 40 years and currently have two partners and two associates. We have a high paced practice and plenty of room for growth for anyone looking for experience in civil litigation. We had 24 cases go to trial last year and already have had two as well. We do offer remote capabilities.
