Very well-established capital equipment manufacturer recently celebrating its 50th anniversary is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to join their tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will possess a junior level of office and accounting experience with a clear 3-5 year path to office management/full-charge bookkeeping. Salary depends on experience. Responsibilities:
-Monitor company emails and route to appropriate contact/department
-Monitor front line phones, take accurate messages, and route to appropriate department
-Order entry, billing, and inventory control and management
-Provide front desk reception to visitors and guests
-Assist Bookkeeper/Office Manager with AP and AR functions
-General administrative support to routine office functions and special projects
Qualifications:
-Associate s or bachelor s degree is strongly preferred
-1+ year of office experience that included support to accounting/bookkeeping functions
-Microsoft Office savvy
-Accounting software experience is preferred
-Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player
-Willingness to work full-time on-site in Bergen County, NJ
