Job Description: What Telecommunications contributes to our client: Telecommunications Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, operating and maintaining the client's telephone systems, small and medium contact centers, and relationships with telecommunications service and maintenance vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of telecommunication concepts and systems
- Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills and ability to make independent decisions Involved in the purchase, installation, and support of communications including Biscom, Avaya, Skype, Cisco, SIP, and VOIP systems
- Monitors data/voice traffic and maintains performance to ensure high quality transmission and call quality
- Investigates and resolves telecom incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security
- Applies comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities Investigates and resolves vendor incidents through maintenance contracts
- Possesses knowledge of telecom technologies, hardware, software and telephony connectivity
- Fixes all telecom issues at all sites
- Runs reports on telecom health Investigates and resolves vendor incidents through maintenance contracts
Requirements:
- Detailed Knowledge of O365
- Detailed Knowledge of MS Teams application
- Demonstrated experience and Expert knowledge of Skype for Business clients and On Prem servers
- Able to configure and support Skype servers
- Run through the server topology and complete understanding of the different server functions
- Expert knowledge of Enterprise Voice and what it takes to support an Enterprise dial plan
- Being able to support the environment from Server, Client and Telephony dial plan
- Load Balancing: 3 years (Required)
- Lync/Skype for Business: 3 years (Required)
- Microsoft Exchange: 3 years (Required)
- Active Directory: 3 years (Required)
- Demonstrated experience and expert knowledge in the planning, design, troubleshooting, and provisioning of Microsoft Office 365 solutions including Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of open federation Qualifications
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
- Operate within guidelines
- Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers
- Interacts with peers customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management
