Top Three Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience as an analyst interfacing between business units and IT groups in a WMS environment; need a solid understanding of what happens within the four walls of a warehouse and distribution center (i.e. what business processes are taking place and why)

2. Experience writing technical specs and implementing WMS solutions at customers; need to understand what systems need to integrate with WMS and why.

3. Need solid technical skills specifically within SQL in the event issues occur and they need to do some data mining to determine root cause.

Job Description:

The Client is looking for strong business analysts to join their team supporting new and existing customer implementations. This person will be part of their WMS platform team who implements solutions at customers and performs the integration and go-live activities. This person will be a liason between the business units within the client and the development groups. The operations teams have the direct relationships with the client. This person will be working with these operations teams as well as directly with the clients to gather requirements and write them into technical specifications for the developers. This includes everything from WMS upgrade projects, issues that come up with the WMS systems, adding new products/services for clients, etc. Strong SQL skills would be great for this role so that they can go into the database and look at issues and see what needs to be done.

The client has positions all along the spectrum: systems analyst, sr. systems analyst, business analyst, sr. business analyst, and manager positions.
