Azure Cloud Engineer

About the Job: Looking for 7 to 10 years experienced Azure Cloud Engineer technical expertise in engineering of new products as well as improving existing ones using innovative and practical approaches aligned with the governance standards and current methodologies.

Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Educational Background: Post Graduate/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Kubernetes cluster

Managing Azure Subscription (e.g. increasing security, managing alerts)

Collaborate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security and high availability in the Cloud.

Working closely with development teams to understand their needs and code infrastructure deployments in terraforms.

Keeping documentation concise, accurate and up to date.

Research new technologies and prototype new ideas.

Contributing to a continual improvement in everything we do e.g., increasing automation, better observability, removal of technical debt.

Coordination of Bring your own Cloud offering with 3rd party vendors.

Third level on-call support during critical periods.

Skills Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Curious mindset and the ability to break complex problems into steppingstones.

Good general understanding of networking, compute, and security concepts relevant to the public cloud.

Experience in operation of Kubernetes Clusters.

Experience engineering solutions with Microsoft Azure.

Experience with at least one RDBMS (preferable Postgres).

Additional Requirements:

Experience writing terraforms (preferable a Terraform Associate).

Good skills writing Power shell, Python, Bash.

Good working knowledge of git.
