Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Finance Specialist who loves to work across (a) account payable (b) revenue assurance, and (c) accounting. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, hands-on person who loves to solve problems, that can be inventive and is unafraid to ask questions.

Key Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities for the Finance Specialist includes, but not limited to, the following functions:

Finance Function,

1. Responsible for the day to day accounting functions of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger to ensure correct accounting principles are entered in the book of accounts / AIRX accounting system.

2. Responsible for all production, issue and tracking of invoices and bills with customers and suppliers along with the issue of purchase orders.

3. Maintaining and tracking of all payments including expenditures, payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements on the AIRX accounting system.

4. Validate with the Operations team that customer and supplier invoices and billing is correct.

5. Liaise with AIRX’s Accountant to ensure timely annual account filing including VAT returns and statutory financial fillings.

6. Preparation and submission of Monthly Management Accounts to the management team.

7. Preparation of Monthly MIS Report for management and ad-hoc reports.

8. Identification, development, and implementation of financial processes to control internal and external business spend.

Who we are looking for?

Our ideal candidate must be customer focused and have a working knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and they should also:

1. Be highly organised, proactive and able to function in a fast-moving environment.

2. Have a proven track record with 2+ years of relevant experience in the international IT & Telecommunications industry.

3. Be an experienced Finance, Account Payable and Account Receivable professional.

4. Have a degree in Business Commerce, Finance or Accounting.

5. Be experienced working in a multi-cultural/international environment.

6. Have the energy and determination to deliver quality driven results.
