Senior Content Writer

We're looking for a Senior Content Marketer to join our passionate team of marketers and spearhead our content creation, strategy, and execution.

The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and storyteller, who has also got an understanding and inclination towards visual storytelling, including videos. He/She will not just create effective content that caters to specific audience and personas, but will also ideate and own content-led marketing initiatives and campaigns. He/She will also be goal oriented and will track impact and optimize content creation to maximize outcomes. He/She will also be a good team player, who will collaborate across teams to craft the best possible content and ensure it reaches the audience in the best possible manner.

Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our business goals, target audience, and competitive landscape. Identify content gaps and opportunities, and define content themes, formats, and channels. Develop and own the content calendar for the organization.

Support and execute the day-to-day storytelling, content and copy creation for various marketing and communication assets, including blogs, ebooks, videos, press releases, social media posts, brand messaging and other marketing collateral materials as needed.

Build, maintain, and nurture relationships with internal teams, key stakeholders and subject matter experts to create effective content and to also increase reach of content.

Collaborate closely with our SEO Marketing Specialist to ensure SEO best practices are successfully implemented in our content.

Edit and rewrite content created by other teams.

Create and/or execute content-led initiatives and campaigns

Strong understanding of content marketing strategy, SEO best practices, and content performance metrics.

Has experience working in a tech company or a SaaS venture.

Requirements:

5 - 7 years of work experience as a tech content writer, storyteller, content analyst, copywriter, or similar role.

Educational qualification in communications, English literature, marketing, journalism, or a related field will be an advantage.

English fluency with great written and spoken communication, impeccable spelling and grammar, and well-versed in digital, conversational, creative and persuasive writing. Experience in creating video content will be an advantage.

Great content editing and copywriting skills.

Experience implementing on-page SEO and the ability to keep pace with search engine and internet marketing industry trends and developments.
