Required Work Experience & Knowledge

5-6 years of experience in water infrastructure field in working with Sub-Contractors, Sub-Contractor finalizing, measurement certification & billing, Sub-Contractors work capabilities evaluation and sub-contractor issue resolution.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering ( B.Tech)

Contracts Management from NICMAR would be preferable

Essential/ Key Responsibilities

Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring legal and project compliance and issue work orders to sub-contractors. Proactively address contractual issues and disputes in collaboration with legal teams. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the contract lifecycle.

Contract Renewals & Termination: Develop a systematic approach for managing contract renewals, terminations, and extensions. Identify opportunities for renegotiation or improvement during the renewal process.

Sub-Contractor Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with sub-contractors and other external stakeholders. Collaborate with sub-contractors to optimize contract terms, pricing, and service levels. Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues or concerns.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks within contracts and implement strategies to mitigate those risks. Work closely with legal and risk management teams to address contractual and legal risks.

Team Leadership and Mentorship: Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Operational Duties

Document Management: Maintain a centralized contract repository with accurate and up-to-date information. Oversee the creation, distribution, and retrieval of Contracts, work orders and agreements. Implement document control measures for accessibility and confidentiality.

Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate open communication between project stakeholders and contractors. Provide regular updates on contract status, potential risks, and dispute resolution. Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders on contract-related matters.

Compliances: Ensure that all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Regularly update and educate internal teams on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting contracts.

Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contractors performance and compliance to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on performance data.
