Sporting Syndicate is the largest Sports Goods manufacturers and exporters in India. Based in Jalandhar, Punjab, the company was founded in 1960 and has since been driving India's Sports Goods industry.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Production Manager to lead our Rubber department. The roles and responsibilities will include:
Leading the department's Production department, in coordination with Quality, Purchase, Dispatch and Maintenance departments
Lead the staff in the unit along with workers to achieve Production Capacity on a daily basis
Look for ways to improve manufacturing ways by using tools of Lean Management and Six Sigma
Manage vendor relationships
Work with R&D department to develop new rubber products
About you
Previous experience in a Rubber industry is necessary
At least 8 years of experience in Manufacturing is required
Have leadership qualities
Work harder than the rest of the department
Knowledge about Rubber compounding is a plus
