Job Description:
Establish Team Practices with company’s Scrum and Agile Practices
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
Manage backlog health and work intake into the backlog
Coach team members in Agile frameworks, Scrum Practices
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
Help teams implement changes effectively
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
Responsibilities:
Leading the team: Leading the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
Helping the team: Helping the product owner and development team achieve customer satisfaction
Removing impediments: Resolving team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization
Coaching the team: Coaching and supporting Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work
Supporting events: Facilitating and supporting all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
Resolving issues: Resolving conflicts and issues that occur
Supporting the product owner: Providing education where needed
Qualifications: Required:
6+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master or Product Owner
5+ years working as a Scrum Master
Expert in facilitation, problem solving and influencing outcomes
Expert knowledge of best practices in value driven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis driven development, usability testing).
Expert knowledge of agile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams or similar agile management & tooling.
Desired:
Demonstrated experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformation with experience as a Scrum Master in a scaled environment
Scrum Master and Agile Certifications
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
