Job Summary:

The Home Health Staffing Coordinator is the voice of our customer and employee experience at Tendercare. Your ultimate goal is to make sure that patients are staffed to the best of their ability and that employees/patients have the best experience with Tendercare possible. You will deal with patients on their worst day when their child is going through medical issues and you'll be there to support them and coordinate the things that they need. You will communicate via text, email, phone, and internal messaging systems to make sure that care is being coordinated and clients are getting their hours staffed. This role is critical for Tendercare to provide top-quality care and being a place employees want to work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Communicate clearly, kindly, and effectively as a primary representative of Tendercare Home Health Services Inc.

Acts as the main point of contact for patients and employees regarding schedules which includes hospitalizations, call-offs, covid exposures, etc.

Build patient schedules that align with the patient's health insurance benefits (will be provided)

Clear alerts in Tendercare electronic medical records system

Collaborate with other departments to provide top quality, kind, and compassionate support to Tendercare patients and employees

Must strictly adhere to the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements regarding privacy and security of health information of clients of Tendercare.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be an excellent multitasker with tremendous follow up skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn information systems and Medical record applications

Education and Experience:

Associate degree (or higher) in related field required.

Prior related office experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
