UX Designer

Immediate need for a talented UX Designer. This is a 12+ months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate sessions/workshops to help partners define problems and build roadmaps

Storytell vision and strategy

Deliver concepts/prototypes to help design teams and partners align on strategy and support planning for research

Consume requirements and interpret them into interfaces

Assess research insights and ideate UI solutions

Present solutions to team or business using solid rationale

Interpret goals into effective, measurable outcomes

Synthesize research results into actionable design recommendations

Provide strategic experience design support on complex program supporting the modernization of our Insurance line of business

Storytelling the strategies and coordinates with customers from the business teams to make sure we’re aligned in the approach

Distilling data and stakeholder input to drive alignment and direction for the program at large

Cross product coordination of design peers to build strong cohesive points of view

Following Corporate Brand Design Language

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Storytelling and strategic partnership: helping partners define problems, articulate vision, think through strategy and provide support to help them tell their story

Design research: defining goals, success measures and synthesis to report insights and recommendations

Visual design: must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a strong grasp of foundational visual design skills, experience using components, creating designs and prototypes.

6+ years

Must have knowledge using; Figma, UserZoom, Mural (or equivalent), Power Point

Real world work in portfolio (no art school projects)

Need to see their Human Centered Design process

Experience Strategy

Visual Design - Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD)

Soft skills (communication, teamwork, creativity, adaptability, problem-solving, work ethic, critical thinking and conflict management, etc.)

Execution using Corporate Design Language

Design Research

Human Centered Design practice skills
