Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee the design and revision of graduate curriculum to ensure alignment with university standards and external accreditation requirements. Lead development of innovative learning activities to enhance student engagement and achieve program outcomes.

Assist the Dean of Nursing in division-wide faculty development and mentoring initiatives.

Teach courses within areas of expertise, with a determined teaching load upon hire.

Promote quality and currency of curriculum, learning resources, and program opportunities. Guide course and program assessment processes, including external accreditation and reporting.

Review and accept students into the program, adhering to program and department policies. Monitor student retention, progression, and graduation rates, addressing challenges as needed.

Coordinate development, revision, and dissemination of program policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Coordinate student advisement process, offering guidance on curricular progression, program policies, and career options. Provide direct advisement to students as required.

Maintain program documents, records, and websites for accuracy and currency of information. Support graduate marketing and university admissions efforts by providing program expertise.

Fulfill other duties associated with individual graduate programs, such as monitoring internship contracts, mentoring faculty, conducting advisory board meetings, overseeing program awards and grants, and establishing community collaborations. Represent the program externally and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, Occasional evening events

Location:

Methodist College- 720 N 87th St, Omaha, NE

Salary:

Starting salary of $61,048 and increases based on work history/experience

Job Qualifications:

Doctoral degree required.

Minimum of two years experience in higher education administration, curriculum development, or program coordination required.

Nebraska licensure and national certifications are required for faculty employed at Nebraska Methodist College where appropriate.
