Our Association leadership team is looking to add an experienced association professional to manage a minimum of one association and serve as a key member of the Paragon Events team. This role involves financial oversight, coordinating activities, fostering member and board engagement, and ensuring the successful execution of our client’s mission and goals.

This is not a Property Manager role, it is a position for Non-Profit Association Management.

What You’ll Do:

Serve as primary representative of the association to Executive Teams, Boards of Directors, members, and external service providers to create positive partnerships and outcomes for the associations.

Create strategies and implement directives and goals for our association’s team, its Board and Committees.

Display organized, consistent, and professional verbal, written and presentation skills.

Ensure compliance with association’s bylaws, policies, and procedures.

Oversee and coordinate via the Paragon Events Association management team to support a multitude of different areas of business development.

Oversees the financial health of the Association department including preparing the annual budget and analysis of associations’ financial results.

Ensure organizations’ goals are accomplished within budget.

Provide support and guidance for the administrator to support their and/or your Boards of Directors, Executive Committees, and Committee Chair to help them fulfill their duties.

Manage leadership training program and provide planning and strategy in program content and facilitation of modules for internal staff training.

Further development and scheduling/logistics of all education and training programs and development and management of related budgets.

Develop events, campaign and individual giving budget projections and track revenue and expenditures.

Research, select, develop and/or modify training curriculum, content, materials, job aids, and more to meet learning needs to support administrators training and feedback.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Seek:

Experienced or Qualified Mid-Senior management level association experience, with a minimum of five years association or applicable business management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields. Or 4-5 years of experience.

Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of financial management, association management and Board governance.

Ability to build strong relationships with association management team.

Proven track record in board governance and membership growth and retention.

Extended Understanding of Association management techniques, trends, and leadership skills.

Experience in education and training programs, curriculum development, and training programs, in the association arena.

Willingness to work outside business hours at times.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize.

Ability to thrive in a team environment and the ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines.

CAE certification highly preferred.
