Brake Press Operator Flexible Work Schedule

Job Description

Hours:Monday-Thursday 5:am-3:30pm( 4-10 hour days)

Option to do 9 hour shift with a 4 hour shift on Friday

Pay : $20-22/hour willing to pay more with experience

Set up and operate the brake press. Produce parts per part print while maintaining labor rates.

Performs 1st piece and in-process inspections to verify dimensions, angles, and radii are correct and per print.

Able to use quality inspection tools i.e., Caliper, protractor, and micrometer

Performs angle corrections, bend length adjustments, pick and loads correct tooling based on bend radius called out on print.

Able to read Blueprints and understand tolerances, geometry, material thickness, and special instructions.

Assist with operating robotic welding equipment.

Maintains a clean, organized work area to support 5S initiative, personal and environment safety goals, and accomplish quality production.

Follows safety regulations and observes the environment to ensure safe working conditions are present and corrects issues that need attention.

May perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
