Job Description
Responsible for assisting service recipients in meeting their goals and promoting growth and independence in accordance with state and program regulations. Recipients have mental/behavioral diagnoses.
Listen and respond to the needs of service recipients, parents/guardians, area program staff, and agency management staff
Assure quality and timelines of all documentation in accordance with all state and agency requirements
Provide support, supervision for recipients when eating, dressing, bathing or any other personal hygiene tasks
Ability to actively engage in problem solving and seek resolution of conflict
Ability to manage personal emotions and exercise good decision making while emotionally disturbed
Develop and maintain relationships with staff and families of recipients
