Scrum Master

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

Leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.

Liaises with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.

Responsible for the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline.

Serves as the Agile or Scrum delivery team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making.

Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.

Serve as liaisons between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.

Ensure that team members understand project objectives.

Maintains product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals.

Preserves flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.

Is the facilitator for an agile development team.

The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience or Master's degree with 6 years experience or HS Diploma/equivalent and 12 years experience

U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management

Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
