Eastchester Family Services is a nationally accredited, HRSA NHSC-approved community-based human services organization with offices in Atlanta, Cartersville and Douglasville. Our agency is designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s families by effectively integrating behavioral health and primary care services to improve clinical outcomes, access to health care, and overall quality of life for all clients and their families.

If you are a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (fully licensed and active in Georgia) who is passionate about helping children and preserving families, we encourage you to apply for this hybrid, contract (1099) role. Experience working with autistic individuals is preferred.

Our Clinical Psychologists provide psychological assessments, diagnoses, and treatment to clients in our Atlanta, Cartersville and Douglasville offices (typically working out of only one office per day). This hybrid position requires 2-3 days of in-office work per week.

Responsibilities:

Using the appropriate diagnostic assessments or tests, diagnoses and develops treatment plans for clients experiencing psychological, emotional or behavioral problems.

Provides counseling and supportive therapy to clients individually and/or in a group setting.

Coordinates care with other treatment team members, agencies and health professionals as necessary.

Maintains appropriate documentation of all client contacts, consultations with other professionals, and documents any changes to treatment plan. Intervenes when appropriate in response to changes.

Always maintains client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and Agency requirements.

Completes all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with Agency guidelines.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

PsyD, or a PhD or EdD in psychology or a related field from a graduate school accredited by the American Psychological Association.

Fully licensed Psychologist eligible to provide services in the state of Georgia.

Experience working with autistic individuals.

Minimum of 3 years’ work experience with adolescents and/or adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

Minimum of 3 years’ work experience administering and interpreting psychological tests.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient computer skills
