Recruiting Coordinator
The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated, detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator with a commitment to service excellence to join our Human Resources Team. In this position, you will equip recruiters with the information and tools they need to fill vital positions within Child Education & Development Programs with talented, able candidates. You will partner with recruitment staff to post open positions to job boards, schedule interviews across departments, coordinate hiring processes with our applicant tracking system, create offer letters, conduct background checks, track, and process all new hire paperwork, answer candidate inquiries and facilitate a smooth and efficient hiring process.
This is a fast-paced position requiring you to have strong proficiency with database management and standard office efficiency suites, including Excel and Outlook. Our ideal candidate has prior human resources and recruiting experience, in addition to excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field
Experience in a Non Profit environment
Prior experience in a Human Resources or recruitment role
Knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations
Strong organizational and communication skills

Understanding of human resources policies and practices
Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone)
Knowledge of HR databases including ADP Workforce Now
Strong computer skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong follow up and follow through
Strong time management skills
Commitment to service excellence
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Recruiters and client managers to facilitate a smooth hiring process.
Facilitate movement of candidates through the recruiting process.
Post open positions to external job boards
Schedule interviews across programs and departments
Conduct background checks
Track and process all new hire paperwork
Assess incoming resumes as appropriate
Screen potential employees a directed
Conduct interviews by phone or in person as appropriate
Maintain interview and hiring records
Prepare hiring paperwork and information packets
Handle the orientation of new employees
