Job Summary:
EHS Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager at the facility and is responsible for providing focus, definition, and technical expertise for the development of a proactive Environmental, Health, and Safety plan. Well-rounded manager is needed to develop programs across the scope of all three pillars while developing a strong internal safety culture.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Description Of Essential Functions
Drive the development/improving and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
Maintain updated OSHA and EPA-required written programs and develop/conduct training as necessary including OSHA injury logs.
Oversee the reporting and investigations of any potential injury, accident, and/or health and safety-related issues.
Oversee the necessary environmental, health, and safety training to support and enhance the organization's safety culture
Develop and deploy policies, procedures, and programs to support best-practice and identify best practices
Provide communication and training to all employees at the location, establish and maintain communications, reporting, assessments, training programs, and guidance
Have a relentless pursuit of injury prevention, compliance, and risk reduction
Be capable of developing and facilitating employee-led teams that solve problems and lead the location for safety improvement and awareness
Be capable of aligning the local team and influencing others to achieve the desired EH&S performance objectives outlined by local data driven needs
Review and analyze data to determine the next opportunity to improve EH&S performance
Bring experience with innovative EH&S compliance and risk reduction techniques via employee engagement, behavior-based safety programs, risk assessments, and understanding of implementing, managing, and sustaining EH&S programs in a manufacturing environment
Ability to manage full scope of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for reporting, data collection/analysis.
Ability to implement visual standardization and processes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
