CHIEF MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Salary offer: P27,000 - P30,000

Five (5) days of work per week only

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for keeping the records of laboratory manuals and procedures.

2. Ensures and performs quality control on laboratory instruments, equipment, reagents, and instrument maintenance in order to maintain high-quality laboratory service by following all regulatory requirements.

3. Evaluate abnormal test results and resolves instrument problems to ensure validity of reported data by following departmental regulatory guidelines.

4. Monitors laboratory equipment, adequate stocks, storage of laboratory supplies, and addressing temperature of reagents and specimens to maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure continuous operations.

5. Attends seminars for updates regarding laboratory procedures and tests.

6. Performs phlebotomy for blood collection, process, and release all laboratory examinations guided by standard procedures of laboratory.

7. Ensures and release results in laboratory information systems accurately and promptly with confidentiality to ensure turnaround time.

8. Guides and supervise staff to sustain the quality of work and operations of the laboratory.

9. Reviews standard operating procedures and makes necessary improvements

10. Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

Must be a Graduate of BS Medical Laboratory Science/ Medical Technology

With valid PRC license

With At least 3 years relevant experience

With HIV Proficiency, Drug Test Analyst or Biosafety certificate/s is/are an advantage but not required

Knowledge in using MS Office application

Familiar in Infection Control and DOH licensing requirements

Knowledge in handling laboratory equipment
