About The Role

The Run of Show Food & Beverage Manager is a supporting role, ensuring performance standards are being met, service is efficient and hospitality driven, and operations are compliant with company policy and applicable laws and regulations. This is a seasonal role from April 2024 through October 2024.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

Reports to the Senior F&B Manager

Lead, perform, and prioritize however necessary to support the F&B department and overall business objectives and goals

Manage F&B staff during events, ensuring breaks are taken, assisting with service, and transferring or cutting staff as event needs change

Ensure all DOH, SLA, OSHA, and any other applicable standards are being met, conducting spot-inspections prior to and throughout the event

Oversee sidework, setup, breakdown, and inventory of bars and table service areas during events

Lead pre-shift meetings, as assigned, communicating event specific information, management directives, etc

Ensure standards of conduct are being followed; staff morale, diversity and inclusivity practices, and positive work environment are always held to the highest standards

Track employee performance to ensure all staff are meeting department standards and issue corrective actions if needed

Assist with training new staff

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workspaces, food court, bars, table service areas, and storage

Coordinate with Artist Relations on hospitality rider requests

Utilize Billfold, Google Drive,ClickUp, Prism, and other applications required for gathering and disseminating information

Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental SOPs

Ad hoc projects and light administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

3-4 years in food and beverage operations/service in venues, stadiums, arenas, hospitality industry, or equivalent

Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments, a must

Positive, upbeat leadership style; able to problem solve under pressure while maintaining high degree of professionalism

Must have weekend availability

Must have NYC Food Protection Certificate

Bartending experience preferred

Experience with POS systems preferred (Billfold and/or Toast POS experience a plus!)

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work long shifts, including overnight

Must be able to lift 40lbs

Must be able to work standing for extended periods

Compensation

The hourly rate for the position is $30-$35 per hour
