Job Description
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY:
Daily Operations of Food Safety Quality Department
Employee Food Safety & Quality Training
Maintain SQF Food Safety code certification ensuring all documented programs and records meet requirements of SQF Modules
Monthly Food Safety performance meetings with the Plant Manager and CFO
Operational compliance to established HACCP & Food Safety Plan.
Supply Ordering for Quality department
Quality Control and safety team
Compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting the SQF Food Safety of finished products
Environmental Monitoring Program
Confirm Sanitation program is maintained with it's existing schedule
Approval process for all new ingredients including packaging
Products & Packaging (Ingredients) Vendor Approval
Allergen testing program
Auditing to ensure compliance with the SQF Food Safety Code
Annual SQF, customer and regulatory audits & inspections
Work directly with major retail customers
