INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW:

Action Labor & Staffing Connection is immediately hiring for our Manager in Training Program (MIT). We are an employee-owned (ESOP) temporary staffing firm with branch locations throughout Florida and the Southeast United States.

Action Labor is seeking bright, enthusiastic individuals who want to build and maintain their own staffing business. Unlike other training programs, this job opportunity and path develops LEADERS who become field-level experts in sales, recruiting and operations in the construction and industrial staffing industry. The end-goal is to assume control of a territory where staffing is in-demand. Through our comprehensive training program administered in the Ocala/Gainesville areas you will learn the tools and skills necessary to become an Action Labor Branch Manager. By working with our Leadership Team and local Branch Training personnel, we will build a strong foundation for your success in the staffing industry.

Upon completion, the MIT will relocate (with our assistance and investment) to a new location and assume all territory sales and development functions at the local branch. By becoming an Action Labor Manager, you will assume the most vital, rewarding and important role at our company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Through our structured, hands-on learning program immersed in the Ocala/Gainesville Branches, we’ll teach you company and industry knowledge. Included in this training is branch operations and procedures, the sales process, and a comprehensive approach to recruiting temporary workers. Upon completion of the 3-month training program, you will relocate with our assistance and investment into a new market and supervise the sales and operations of an Action Labor branch location.

The MIT will work closely with existing Branch Managers and mentors who will teach all the necessary and required skills to grow and advance your career in the staffing industry. As an Action Labor MIT, you will learn our business from day one while based out of our local Ocala/Gainesville Branches. You will be entrusted to serve as both the face of Action Labor to customers and partners and become the behind-the-scenes operational expert. In our structured program, you will master the knowledge and skills you need to eventually run your own branch, cultivate new business and develop your team.

We offer a competitive wage and full-benefits package. Base salary of $45,000 during the 3-month training program. Increase in base upon graduation plus assistance for relocation. Aggressive commission structure with UNLIMITED earnings potential once you take over your own Action Labor branch territory. Make $100k+++ or more full time with benefits as a successful candidate!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Recent graduate or professional with two years’ work experience. Open to anyone with construction or industrial background OR a candidate with the drive and fortitude to become an Action Labor Manager.

Ability to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, work well in a team. environment with a positive attitude, and make logical, independent decisions.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Flexibility to work Monday to Friday dayshift. Occasional nights and weekends. Early mornings required, our Action Labor Branches open at 5:30-6:00am to dispatch temporary workers into the communities for the clients we serve.

Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions as our clients and workforce are involved in construction and industrial labor, both indoors and outside.

ABOUT THE TRAINING:

The Branch Manager In-Training Program is designed to provide you with:

A list of the “things you need to know” to succeed at Action Labor.

A method for learning and practicing those skills.

And a set of criteria by which to rate yourself.

It establishes the focus for your activities over the first 90 days of your employment.

And a timeline for completing these important training events and tasks.

While gaining Action Labor and Staffing knowledge is certainly important, this training approach is more about results.

Concepts learned in a classroom environment take time to develop into actual skills. This program will require practice, dedication and commitment, and more practice to develop to a high level of competence. This program will organize your approach and set you up for success.

Key topics over the 3-month program include: Company and Industry knowledge; Branch Operations and Procedures; Sales Process; Employee New Hire Process; Effective Recruiting Techniques.
