Key Responsibilities

Assist in ensuring that all the correct forms and proper procedures are used for LIHTC and HUD compliance, subsidy programs, Housing Authority and Conventional Affordable compliance.

Responsible for reviewing and monitoring workflow; performance and accuracy always; reporting deficiencies to the Director of Compliance.

Assist in monitoring on-line compliance reporting for all properties and reporting any deficiencies to Director of Compliance.

Conduct Compliance Reporting and Internal Auditing.

Responsible for assisting and/or obtaining Utility Allowance documentation annually.

Remaining current on tax credit and HUD occupancy and compliance requirements by participating in educational opportunities and industry networking.

·Assist in the design and implementation of compliance related training programs for department, corporate and on-site management.

Support in the implementation of policies and procedures relating to on site management of program compliance.

Establish and maintain relationship with federal, state and local agencies, and work with them on issues relating to compliance.

Partner with corporate and on-site management to problem solve and to ensure policies are implemented and followed correctly on site.

Support in managing the maintenance, completion and accuracy of property files and records, according to department systems, with an emphasis on documentation for future reference. Provide prompt, detailed and accurate general status reports on all properties assigned.

Ensure Departments timely reporting as required by state and local agencies for monitoring of compliance with federal, state and local programs. This may include preparing the reports or coordinating the reporting done by the site office to the agency requesting the information.

Requirements

5-7 years of property management experience specifically working with HUD, Tax Credit and Market properties.

Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation required

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
