Herndon VA (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Must have active Secret clearance or Higher.

Position Overview:

Navitas Business Consulting is seeking an IBM Maximo Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Key Responsibilities:

Identify, recommend, and implement agreed upon leading industry practices, process methodologies, new technologies, and streamlined approaches that afford the client the ability to improve system performance.

Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Maximo with a focus on facilities management.

Provide support to maintain IBM's Maximo to ensure that all Maximo Users have a stable platform to perform daily operations.

Provide technical and business-level assistance, incident resolution, and daily support to the Maximo user community.

Maintain and enhance the functionality, reliability, availability, performance, stability, sustainability, and security of the Maximo application and its databases and tools.

Implement best practices, create, and improve Maximo business processes to manage work management, logistics, and property management processes.

Support the validation and testing of deliverable products in accordance with our customer's approved processes.

Required Skills:

College Degree is required and preferably in computer science or a related discipline.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Excellent analytical and technical skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Proficient in SQL to support Reporting and ad hoc queries.

Expert knowledge of Maximo including

Application designer

Database administration

Workflow designer

Escalations

Conditional expressions

Automation scripts (Python /Jython)

BIRT Reporting Studio

3-5 years of Maximo Development experience

US Citizen w Active Secret Clearance (Required)Preferred Skills:

Experience with IBM WebSphere a plus.

Experience with Oracle database a plus.

MAS 8 experience is a plus.

Experience with Red Hat Open Shift and or Kubernetes a plus.

IT certifications are a plus.
