Stock Handler/Dock Associate Job Description/Duties:
Performs unloading, loading, wrapping, unwrapping, moving, lifting, assembly and staging of merchandise.
Assist the design team with the receipt and placement of product as needed to replenish visual displays.
Assists with customer pick-ups in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment
Practices safe and secure loading methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.
Practices safe and secure loading methods to avoid damages
Reports errors found on documents to supervisor.
Completes all documentation neatly and accurately.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Skills/Requirements/Physical Demands:
Must have flexibility/availability to work a retail hours/scheduling: includes evenings, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
Must have the ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons weighing approximately 50 – 100+ lbs. repetitively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening skills.
Basic reading and comprehension skills.
Basic numerical reasoning skills.
Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient manner.
Basic computer skills.
Mechanically inclined.
Education: High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and above.
